Mirramaze:

Mirramaze is one of the most original bands ever to come out of Oslo.

Doing alternative rock with electric cello as one of the main instruments sets them apart from the generally dreary music scene of today.

Awards:

Mirramaze won the Emergenza Battle of the bands for Norway and Scandinavia in 2007 and is the first (and still the only( Norwegian band ever to make it to the world finals in Germany. Out of 7000 bands were they in the top ten.

History:

Mirramaze had its humble beginnings on the east side of Oslo, playing in dingy pubs for a few pints each. Now they pack out some of the hottest clubs in town, and have played in places such as Taubertal Open-Air festival in Germany, Debaser Medis in Stockholm, and Betong, John Dee, Garage and Rådhusplassen in Oslo, to name but a few. They have shared stages with the likes of Åge Aleksandersen, DDE, El Caco, Maria Haukaas Storeng and Gogol Bordello.
